Emilie is an educator, author, and poet committed to building a more connected and just world. Her expertise as a facilitator, community builder, and curriculum designer is shaped by her practical experience as an outdoor educator and her nuanced understanding of learner-centered teaching practices. Emilie's workshops and classes focus on deepening capacity for connection– to ourselves and our communities– through building foundational practices of curiosity, attention, and awareness. Emilie has co-authored dozens of publications and curricula focused on outdoor education, including the book How to Teach Nature Journaling, and has published poems several journals.
